Technology Services


The library has PCs and Macs available on the 1st floor and 3rd floors. All computers can print, have Microsoft Office and a variety of other software from image editing to audio editing. See our full list of software here.

We also have laptops to borrow for library card holders. Ask at the information desk.

Headsets are required for watching movies or listening to CDs. Earbuds are available for purchase at our service desks.


The entire library is a WIFI hotspot and is free.

To join our wireless network, search for Princeton Public Library in your available networks. There is no password required.

If as much speed as possible is your thing, we have Ethernet cables available for use in the library. Ask at the information desks.


Printing is available from any computer found on the 1st floor and 3rd floors.

  • Black and white printing is $.15/page.
  • Color printing is $.25/page

Wireless Printing

Customers can print wirelessly from their laptops and then pick up their print job from the Copy Center. Just go to:

A dedicated station for scanning documents is available on the 1st floor.

Scanning is free. You can scan to email or a flash drive.


Fax service is available. Please ask at the Welcome desk on the 1st floor.

  • Domestic faxes are $2 for the first page, $1 for additional pages.
  • International faxes are $4 for the first page, $2 for additional pages.

Phone Charging

If you are in the library and your device battery is low, you can have it charged at the Reference Desk or Youth Services Desks. Our chargers accomodate most iPhones and Android devices.

Mac Laptop Charging

If you have a Mac laptop with a low battery, we have a variety of Mac power chargers for assorted models.

To use one of these items please go to the Welcome Desk. You will be asked to leave an ID while you use these items in the library.


We offer a variety of helpful gadgets to borrow inside the library including SD Card Readers, floppy drives (for the die hard fans out there), DVD drives and more. Just ask at the desk to see if we have what you need.

The library has a teleconference room. The room is equipped with Skype Microsoft Lync and Google Hangouts via a dedicated PC. This is a private room that must be reserved by contacting the Reference Desk at 609-924-9529 x1220 or Walk-ins are accommodated by seeing the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor.
