Services

At Princeton Public Library, our collection is just the beginning. Take a look at some of the great services we offer

BOOK A STUDY ROOM

The library offers eleven study rooms: nine on the second floor and two on the third floor. On the second floor, five of the study rooms are equipped with screen-sharing technology to facilitate group collaboration.

Library cardholders can book a study room anytime by going to princetonlibrary.org/studyrooms. Rooms are available for one hour and can be reserved up to a day in advance. Those without a library card may visit the service desks on the second or third floors to sign out a room for immediate use, up to one hour, based on availability.

MUSEUM PASSES

Our Museum Pass program provides free admission to various cultural centers in NJ, PA, and NYC, including MOMA, Gardens for Sculpture, Academy of Natural Sciences, Princeton University Library, and more.

LIBRARY BY MAIL

The library reaches far beyond our walls. You can still enjoy our collection, whether you can visit the library or not. We will be glad to mail you items that you have reserved via our Library By Mail service.

INTERLIBRARY LOANS

If we don’t have an item you are looking for, we may be able to borrow it from another library. Through Interlibrary Loan, we can borrow books, films, music, articles, and more.

RENT A SPACE

With five distinct meeting spaces, Princeton Public Library is a great place to hold an off-site meeting, staff training, team building, interviews or other business meetings. (Room rentals have been suspended during the second floor renovation).
