Princeton Citizen Scientist: Science, Democracy, and the Princeton Community

October 12 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The Princeton Public Library is partnering with the Princeton Citizen Scientists to host a series of teach-ins centered on topics in science and democracy:

  • Healthcare Costs
  • New Jersey Energy- Efficiency Initiatives
  • National Climate Change Policy
  • Immigration and Social Justice
  • Education in Prisons
  • Cybersecurity
  • Nuclear Weapons

The event is a collaboration between the Princeton Public Library and Princeton Citizen Scientists, a group of Princeton University graduate students promoting evidence-based policy. The rotating teach-in format stems from the Day of Action, an all-day gathering last March that featured 64 teach-ins widely attended by Princeton residents and students.

Community Room

Co-sponsored by the library and Princeton Citizen Scientist.
