P.E.A.C.E. Conference 2008

P.E.A.C.E. Conference

Students for Peace, a nonprofit student group of the Coalition for Peace Action, returns to the library to host its second daylong P.E.A.C.E. (Proactive Education for Activism on Current Events) Conference. The goal is to bring together youth from around the state for a day of workshops, speakers, networking and education.

TEEN ADVISORY BOARD

Participants in grade 6 and over meet monthly at the library to advise Teen Services Librarian Susan Conlon about the teen collection and talk about books, films and music. The sessions provide a say in library services and programs.

Snacks are provided. New people always welcome.

May 10, June 7, July 12 and August 9 at 11 a.m. (NEW START TIME)
