DESCRIPTION
The Office of Health Care Quality Assessment works to improve
the quality of health care in New Jersey by developing data and
producing reports that can be used by consumers, health care
providers, policy makers and regulators. Over the years the
office has published reports on Cardiac Surgery in NJ, Bariatric
Surgery in NJ, Inpatient Quality Indicators, Hospital Performance
and newsletters on medical adverse events. Data collection for
infectious disease is expected to begin in 2009.
