DESCRIPTION

The local chapter of a national nonprofit organization serving

individuals with AD/HD. Through collaborative research and

education, CHADD provides information to parents, educators,

professionals and the general public. Attention-

deficit/hyperactivity disorder is characterized by

developmentally inappropriate impulsivity, attention, and, in

some cases, hyperactivity. Monthly meetings for all interest

groups are held on WED evenings from 7 PM to 9 PM at the

Gymnasium of the Riverside School, Princeton. A directory of

providers in Mercer County is available to members.

PROGRAMS

Community support, outreach and education, including monthly meetings

featuring speakers on a variety of topics.

In Service for Teachers at all school districts in Mercer County

as well as The College of New Jersey Teacher Education

Department.

Daytime Parents Support Group: meets once a month on FRI

at the Lawrence Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike, Room 3. Facilitated by Betsy Ie.
