DESCRIPTION

A 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to increase

the visibility of rowing; promote international competition; and

superior competitive rowing teams from the United States. 

PROGRAMS

Mercer Junior Rowing Club:  A rowing program for high school

students in Mercer County, whose schools do not currently

field a rowing team.  It offers both instruction (including

summer camps) and competitive opportunities.  The club uses

Mercer Lake and the Finn Caspersen boat house.

PNRA is host to scholastic, collegiate and international regattas.

In 2006, the women's NCAA championships were hosted the

facility from May 25-28. From Sept. 7-10, PNRA  hosted the

FISA World Masters Championships (for all competitive rowers

of the Masters' category - 27 years and older)
