DESCRIPTION
Trained volunteers who provide horticultural information and
programs to the residents of Mercer County. The volunteers
take a 21-week course in horticultural topics at Mercer County
Extension in exchange for doing volunteer work on such Mercer
County programs as MEG, the Mercer Educational Gardens, aka
the Home Composting Demonstration Site,
4-H Fair, community outreach days, etc., and staffing the
Master Gardener Helpline, which answers residents' questions
about gardening problems.
