DESCRIPTION
The local affiliate of the Women's Political Caucus of New Jersey.
The state level organization is still active and their web address
is listed above. It is a multi-partisan organization dedicated to
changing the underrepresentation of women in govermnent
through the election and appointment of women to every level.
In order to achieve this the Caucus lobbies for laws and testifies
at hearings on legislation which affects women's rights; trains
women candidates and assists with their campaigns, networks
with other political associations and raises funds.
