DESCRIPTION
A medical research organization which offers free treatment to
qualifying individuals with Alzheimer's disease,
depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, social phobia,
obsessive compulsive disorders, panic, migraines, and sexual
dysfunction through participation in research programs. Free
depression and memory screenings. Smoking cessation
program. Healthy normal volunteers - please call, as the mix of
studies always changes.
PROGRAMS
Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group: Professionally-run
support group for caregivers (spouses, children, friends) of
patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Meets 3rd
Saturday of the month, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM. Call 800-883-1180,
NJ Alzheimer Association.
National Anxiety Disorder Screening Day and National
Depression Screening Day: Annual events in which free
screening tests, confidential meetings with a physician,
educational materials and referrals are provided.
