DESCRIPTION

A non-profit agency which provides a broad spectrum of mental

health services.  Staff includes social workers, clinical

psychologists, psychiatrists, certified substance abuse

counselors, special education teachers, and certified financial

counselors.  Branch offices in  Hamilton and Trenton.  Fees

based on ability to pay. Approved for Medicaid, Medicare and

medical insurance.  Licensed by the New Jersey Department of

Mental Health.

PROGRAMS

Family Preservation Services (FPS):  Intensive, community

based program which provides in-home family education and

crisis intervention to families with children at risk of out-of-

home placement.  Call 609-393-1626.

Behavioral Health Services (BHS): Provides outpatient mental

health services and psychiatric medication monitoring. Center

abuse treatment.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Central NJ:  Program

approved by the New Jersey State Department of Banking and

Insurance.Provides advice on how to handle money and reduce

or eliminate debt. Debt Management Program: Bankruptcy

counseling and certificate, home-buyers education and First

Homebuyers certificate, foreclosure counseling and prevention.

Children's Day Treatment Program:  Structured, 5 days per

week, 12-month therapeutic environment for children ages 6-

15 years with socioemotional and/or developmental disorders, 

which functions as an after school program (Sept.-June) and as

a full-day therapeutic camp in July and August.  1925

Substance Abuse Recovery Program: Outpatient treatment for

drug and alcohol abuse. Treatment also available for individuals
