DESCRIPTION

An area sporting institution which enjoys its reputation as the

oldest, and one of the finest, university-affiliated golf courses in

the country.  The 18-hole course was designed by architect

William Flynn to sit on approximately 100 acres.  The course and

clubhouse are on Princeton University property, but Springdale

operates as a private entity under a licensing agreement with

the University.  Part of that agreement requires the club to allow

access to all university students, faculty, and administrators. 

The club likes to keep a fairly constant membership around 325;

therefore the wait is approximately two years for prospective

members.
