DESCRIPTION
A non-profit corporation which offers professional storytelling residencies,
performances and workshops for children and teachers. Most
programs are designed to reach special needs groups that can
benefit from storytelling but would not ordinarily have access to
professional storytellers. Programs are long-term and
storytellers usually visit once a week or once every other week.
Storytelling Arts also offers professional development for
teachers.
PROGRAMS
Offers a special program for NJ schools in which storytellers
may spend anywhere from one to sixty days in a school
offering performances, workshops for students, workshops for
teachers, and outreach programs in the community.
