DESCRIPTION
A community-centered membership organization dedicated to
enriching the spirit, mind and body, and improving the quality oflife. The organization creates and delivers values-based programs
that draw their inspiration from the Judeo-Christian
heritage. The organization is inclusive, serving people of all ages,
races and creeds, and providing financial assistance to those
who cannot afford the fees. The YMCA's three program priorities
are the holistic development of children and youth, healthy
lifestyles for all. and family strengthening.
PROGRAMS
Licensed Child Care: for children 8 weeks to 5 years;
afterschool programs at Littlebrook and Johnson Park
elementary schools; afterschool physicial fitness program at
John Witherspoon Middle School.
Health and Wellness Programs: facilities and equipment for men
and women, including two pools, Cybex strength training, free
weights, cardiovascular center, sauna, steam room and
gymnasium.
Youth and Adult Sports
Aquatics Programs: swim lessons, swim team and water fitness classes.
