DESCRIPTION

A government agency which is responsible for personnel

matters, affirmative action, benefits, safety, and training of the

approximately 1700 county employees.  Also responsible for the

County medical office and physician.

PROGRAMS

Training Programs for Employees:  Various training programs

are given to Mercer County employees throughout the year

such as New Hire Orientation, Sexual Harassment, Progressive

Disciplinary Training, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA),

Workplace Violence, and Financial Planning.
