DESCRIPTION

The local chapter of a national organization of women

descendents of Revolutionay War patriots, who are dedicated to

the objectives of historic preservation, education and

patriotism. Its community service projects have included

recognizing local environmental volunteers with Conservation

Medals, presenting leadership recognition medals to senior ROTC

cadets, sponsoring Good Citizen competitions, recognzing

outstanding teachers of American history, and placing plaques

and flags at historic sites and on patriot graves.

PROGRAMS

4-5 programs per year are presented on topics of American

history and heritage, conservation and education.
