DESCRIPTION
A private, non-profit agency, begun as part of the Mercer
Council on Alcoholism and Drug Addiction, which provides
services to organizations to increase productivity and employee
morale while decreasing absenteeism and turnover The services
include professional, short-term, confidential counseling and
referrals for employees and those residing in a household with
an employee, as well as management consulting for supervisors
dealing with difficulty employee situations. In order to access
these services, an individual in need of counseling must
be employed by an organization or business
which has retained the services of MEAS.
