DESCRIPTION
A state government agency administered by the New Jersey
Department of Human Services, which provides services in the
four adult state psychiatric and one specialty hospital. It also
contracts with approximately 120 private non-profit agencies for
the provision of over 700 community-based ambulatory care
mental health programs for adults.
PROGRAMS
Outpatient residential, screening/emergency, and psychosocial
rehabilitation programs, such as supported employment,
medication monitoring; family support services.
