DESCRIPTION
A government agency administered by the Mercer County Dept.
of Human Services responsible for the planning, administration
and coordination of alcohol, drug abuse and other addiction
services in Mercer County. It is a funding agent for drug/alcohol
treatment agencies.
PROGRAMS
Mercer County Municipal Alliance Program: Program,
established in 1989, which focuses on creating a network of
communities dedicated to a comprehensive and coordinated
prevention effort against alcoholism and drug abuse. Within
the county's prevention system, the alliance represents the
local, volunteer efforts to combat the spread of substance
