DESCRIPTION
A community-based recreation department servicing Princeton
Township and Borough residents, which provides a variety of
sports, cultural and travel programs fo rall ages. Maintains the
following facilities: Community Park Pool, Community Park South
and North, Grover Park, Hilltop Park, Smoyer Park, Greenway
Meadows Park and Platform Tennis Courts.
PROGRAMS
Summer Day Camp: Program of crafts, games, sports, pool
activities and field trips for Princeton Township and Borough
children entering grades 1-6.
Summer Teen Travel Camp: June/July program of day trips
and possibly one overnight trip to area attractions for Princeton
Township and Borough children entering grades 6-10.
Community trips and Senior activities.
Garden Sites: Garden plots, approx. 10 x 15 feet, available to
residents for a $10 registration fee; located at the Tiger Garage
on John St. and at Smoyer Park.
Sports programs for all ages: basketball, wrestling, softball,
baseball, soccer, football, swimming and diving, fitness,
lacrosse, tennis, platform tennis.
