DESCRIPTION
A volunteer-run instruction, networking and support group for
people changing jobs or a careers. The group meets one Tuesday
per month at Trinity Church. The format alternates
between topical workshops by professional speakers one week
and open discussion the next. Typical subjects include
marketing strategies, resumes and cover letters, career
planning, finding job opportunities, networking and information
interviews, phone and personal interviewing skills, managing
finances and emotions while unemployed, and getting,
negotiating and evaluating job offers. Spouses and partners are welcome. Secular.
