2005 Princeton Human Rights Film Festival

Thursday May 12 - Sunday May 15, 2005

The festival will present documentary films, speakers, musicians and other resources to broaden and deepen the awareness and discussion about critical peace, justice and human rights issues. Over the course of four days, the festival will screen 15 of the most noteworthy national and international documentaries, several of which will be followed by discussions with filmmakers and other speakers.

 

Opening Reception Thursday May 12:

5:00 - 6:00 p.m. - Ranjit and friends - Ranjit is an international recording artist and local musician who sings socially conscious, original music and accompanys himself on guitar and piano.

6:00 - 7:15 - Join us for refreshments and meet filmmakers and people working in local organizations.

7:15 - Screening of How Do You Spell Murder followed by a talk with filmmakers Susan and Alan Raymond.

Admission to all films is free and open to the public. The films will be screened in the Community Room, on the 1st floor of the library off the main lobby. The library is located at 65 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, New Jersey.
