THE CHALLENGEThe library is fortunate to receive 80% of its funding through municipal support. This creates an annual challenge for the library to provide the collection, services and programming Princeton has come to expect. |
THE SOLUTIONThis funding gap is bridged by the fundraising activities of the Friends of the Princeton Public Library, grants, fees and an annual distribution from the Princeton Public Library Foundation. The Friends raise money through an the Annual Benefit, the Ongoing and Annual Book Sale and the Annual Appeal. Their donation is used to fund our collection and our free public programming.
