Public Use Computers
- 100 multimedia public computers distributed throughout
the library. Headsets required for watching movies
or listening to CDs are attached to all stations except for our 15 and 30 minute stand-up express stations.
- Dedicated computers for access to the online catalog.
- Computers equipped with Microsoft Office Suite
and Internet Explorer for access to the web.
- Internet express computers for 15 minutes maximum
use on the first floor and 30 minutes maximum use on the second floor.
- Guest passes for visitors without library cards.
- Technology Center with additional computers equipped
with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Dreamweaver
and FrontPage.
Wireless Access
- Available to any library customers with WIFI enabled
laptops and wireless devices.
- Hotspots throughout the entire library and in the
plaza next to the library.
- No hourly or daily fees.
Lap Top Plug in Access
- Available to customers with laptops with Ethernet
networkcapability
- Available in all areas of library
- No hourly or daily fees
- Ethernet cables available for loan or purchase
at any service desk
Copiers and Printers
- Three coin operated copiers -- one color and two
black and white -- located on each of the library’s
three floors
- Networked printers (color or black and white) on
all three floors
- Set up SAM account to pay for printing fees for
computer print outs
Typewriter
- Available upon request at the Information Desk
on the second floor
Microfilm
- Two microfilm reader/printers on the second floor
Gadgets and Gizmos
- Variety of technology gadgets available for use
in the Technology Center including an iPod, MP3
player, two digital cameras, a scanner, a digital
camcorder, PDA’s. Please call 924-9529 x273

Telephones
- Free local phone service on floors one and three.
- Please refrain from using your cell phone in
the library
