Whether you’re looking for your next book club selection or you’re just in the mood to browse some popular titles, the book group table located on the first floor is your one stop “borrowing” destination. Local book groups submit requests to the library to purchase multiple copies of their discussion titles and titles are rotated on a regular basis to maintain currency. The following is a sampling of what your neighbors are talking about this month.
The Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett
Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Dough by Mort Zachter
The Winter of our Discontent by John Steinbeck
Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky
The Looming Tower by Lawrence Wright
What is the What by Dave Eggers
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
The Gravedigger’s Daughter by Joyce Carol Oates
The Icarus Girl by Helen Oyeyemi
