Note:  In a circular returned to the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Pensions, dated February 25, 189   , George Cudgoe stated that he was married to Matilda Riley Cudgeo [sic] in February, 1895 in West Windsor, N.J.; that he had been married previously to Jemima, Julia, and Louisa -- all dead; and that he had no children by any of his wives. (Pension Certificate No. 591462)
