Princeton Press, Sat., Jan. 31, 1885:

    Mrs. Lena Voorhees, an aged and very devoted member of the Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church, died last evening, at the advanced age of eighty eight years. The funeral will be from the church on Tuesday next, at half past two. 		  Princeton Press, Sat., Mar. 7, 1885:

    Dr. Johnson, the old colored root and herb doctor, died suddenly from heart disease, this week at his home near Rocky Hill, aged 78 years. 		Princeton Press, Sat., July 4, 1885:

    At Princeton, June 28, SARAH HUBBARD, in her 19th year.

    Sarah Hubbard, colored, who died a few days ago, had been insured for about a year in the Metropolitan Life of N. Y. The agent, Mr. Hutchings, yesterday paid the full amount of the policy, $142.00. 		Princeton Press, Sat., July 18, 1885:

    At Princeton, July 13th, 1885, JAMES H. N. JACKSON, son of Frederic and Lucy Jackson, aged 14 years and 6 months.

    Death's doings among us this week, as recorded in to-day's issue of the PRESS, has been unusually great. Mrs. Brackett, Mrs. Vandyke and Miss Lockard have died. Dr. Prime's face we shall probably see no more, nor hear his enlivening voice. The eldest son of one of our colored citizens, a lad of fourteen, died on Tuesday night; his funeral being held in the colored Presbyterian Church on Thursday afternoon. Thus the young as well as the old pass away; and the rich and the poor meet together in the grave. "In the midst of life we are in death." 		Princeton Press, Sat., Aug. 1, 1885:

Princeton Press, Sat., Aug. 1, 1885:

    Anthony Hendrickson, the well known bell ringer of Princeton, whose crying of Auction Sales about our streets for many years has made him well known to all our citizens, died on Wednesday of this week, aged 70 years. He was buried at the colored Cemetery yesterday. 		Princeton Press, Sat., Aug. 22, 1885:

    At Princeton, Aug. 20, THOMAS JEFFERSON CONOVER, aged 69 years.
