Featuring the Remus Lupins, Draco and the Malfoys, The Whomping
Willows and Justin Finch Fletchley.
The Remus Lupins and other
Wizard Rock bands return to the library on their East Coast tour,
howling for kids to support the Order of the Phoenix and the band's
motto, "Fight Evil, Read Books." The concert will feature
indie rock music inspired by the fictional adventures of Harry Potter
and his friends and enemies from Hogwarts. More info

11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Teen Advisory Board Meeting
|

Participants in grade 6 and over meet monthly at the library to advise
Teen Services Librarian Susan Conlon about the teen collection and
talk about books, films and music. The sessions provide a say in
library services and programs.
Snacks are provided. New people

Come in for a blast to the past - all the way back to the early 1990's
- and find vintage music, TV shows and Old School video and board
games to play.
Please BYO videos/DVD's and games to share too,
although some will be provided. More info

The fifth annual festival will spotlight original short films on the
big screen on two nights!
The films are from local (& global)
students in high school and college (up to age 24). Filmmakers will
be invited to attend and introduce and then do Q&A after their films
are screened. Wednesday July 16 and Thursday July 17, 7 p.m. both
nights. More info

2:00-4:00 p.m., 3 R's Workshop: Recycle, Retrofit and Reuse

ransform recycled clothing and materials into original "trashion"
items to wear and use. DIY reusable bags, clothes, and other creative
things . Materials, tools and instruction will be provided, although
you may also BYO materials and ideas to share. No sewing experience
is necessary. All ages welcome.
