Saturday, September 29, 1:00-6:00 p.m.
USCF National Master
and National Correspondence Master Jon Crumiller will provide a lecture
followed by a Simultaneous Chess Match taking on 25 challengers. The
lecture will begin at 1 p.m. in the library's Community Room,
and the Simil will begin at 2:30 p.m. Throughout the afternoon pick-up
chess matches will be available. Pre-registration is suggested for
the simultaneous event (it is designed for experienced chess players
of any age) while the lecture and pick-up games are open by drop-in.
The lecture will take place in the Community Room, and the chess
matches will take place on the Albert E. Hinds Plaza next to the library,
