PROGRAMS
Teen Council: Group of local high school seniors who apply and are chosen to help with the HiTOPS community outreach education. The council provides a teen perspective, and acts as liaison between schools and HiTOPS, leads discussion groups and programs and acts as positive role models to other teenagers within the community. Members receive extensive training in health issues, group facilitation and leadership and communication skills.

"First and Third:" A support/educational program for gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered youth. Meets on first and third Saturdays of the month at HiTOPS.

Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gay (PFLAG): Support Group for parents and friends of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youth. Meets on the second Monday of the Month. Call for meeting location and topic.

Sexual Assault Survivor Support (SASS): A program for young women who have experienced sexual assault. The purpose of SASS is to provide a safe place for conversation, reflection and support through a group connection for young women sharing a similar experience. SASS is not a professional therapy group but provides survivors with the support they need to feel less isolated and afraid while helping them to become stronger. The group runs in 8-10 week cycles and meets at HiTOPS on Thursday evenings. Contact HiTOPS for start dates.

Quitting Smoking Workshop: a group focusing on helping teens quit smoking.
