DESCRIPTION
The local chapter of a national nonprofit organization serving individuals with AD/HD. Through collaborative research and education, CHADD provides information to parents, educators, professionals and the general public. Attention-deficity/hyperactivity disorder is characterized by developmentally inappropriate impulsivity, attention, and, in some cases, hyperactivity.

MEMBERSHIP
National membership is an advantage for the local organization, but is not necessary. Meetings are open to the public; everyone is welcome. One hour is dedicated to facilitated small group discussions and the other will feature speakers and videos that cover topics affecting individuals and families with AD/HD
