DESCRIPTION
ITN is a community-based transportation service for people aged 65 and over and visually impaired adults of any age. Transportation is provided within a ten-mile radius of Quakerbridge Mall. Eligible individuals can use the service by opening a membership in ITN. To use the service, each member deposits funds into a debit account that is then accessed for rider fees. Each time a member uses the ITN the cost of the trip is deduced from the account.
SERVICES
24-hour, 7-day a week, door-to-door transportation for seniors and the visually impaired. The service uses a combination of paid and volunteer drivers to transport seniors. Drivers open doors and help carry groceries of packages
PROGRAMS
Gift Certificates - Family members can open an account for someone
Health Miles - Health care facilities can help offset the cost of rides to their facilities
Ride and Shop - local merchants can help offset the cost of rides to the facilities
Roads Scholarships - Help pay for rides for those on fixed incomes
Car Trade - cars may be donated for ride credits
MEMBERSHIP
Memberships start at $35.00 annual membership for an individual; $50.00 for family membership (includes husband and wife)
FEES/DUES
See above for membership; fares are based on the following rages: $3.00 pickup fee and $1.00 per mile. One must be a member to use the service.
