DESCRIPTION
A unit of Princeton HealthCare System which provides a full range of health care services to patients in their homes. A multidisciplinary team comprised of nurses, home health aides, homemakers, physical and occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, clergy and volunteers offer comprehensive care to help restore quality of life for patients. Home care providers carry laptop computers enabling them to access a patient's medical records. This allows the healthcare team to relay and receive information about care and to provide the patient's physician with easily accessible updates on the patient's condition.

Lifeline: a push-button emergency response system that helps people of all ages obtain help in emergency situations such as a fall, fire, break-in or medical problem. The telecommunications unit can be leased monthly through Princeton HomeCare Services

Home Infusion Therapy: includes intravenous (IV) antibiotics, total parenteral and enteral nutrition, chemotherapy, pain management, IV hydration, biological therapy and aerosolized pentamidine therapy

HomeCare Planner: arranges services while patient is still in the hospital prior to discharge. A home evaluation and plan of care is established under physician direction. Call 609-497-4900

Hospice: offers terminally ill patients the care needed to live the remainder of life with dignity, compassion and understanding - ideally at home. Hospice services include regular nursing visits, on-call services, home health aides, prescribed medications, medical-surgical supplies and equipment, social services and counseling, chaplain, respite care and bereavement support. Princeton Caregivers Private Duty Agency: provides extended care, private duty ser ices in the hospital or at home and is designed to complement traditional home care and hospital services. Includes hourly skilled nursing, hourly home health aide service, hourly homemaker service and live-in service by a home health aide/companion. Call 497-4957
