DESCRIPTION
A historical collection of approximately 70,000 illustrated children's books, including early editions of Perrault's fairy tales, Newbery family imprints, moveable and novelty books, and a rich array of other printed books dating from the 16th to the 20th centuries and published in many languages. The Cotsen gallery features a unique "Bookscape" for family reading and a presentation space for education programs. The gallery is open to the public weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on weekends from 12 NOON to 5 PM
