DESCRIPTION
An organization of women which promotes interest in horticulture, flower arranging and conservation. Proceeds from its programs help to support civic projects and numerous local and state organizations. Member of The Garden Club of America.
PROGRAMS
French Market: Weekly open-air market offering plants, garden flowers and bouquets, small arrangements, plus eggs for sale. Flowers and plants are donated from gardens of members to raise funds for civic projects benefiting the greater Princeton community. Open FRI mornings in the spring and autum. Located at Mercer Island Park at the intersection of University Place, Nassau and Mercer Sts., Princeton. Regular flowr and horticulture shows with talks given by garden and flower experts. Hands-on workshops in plant propagation, flower arranging and gardening methods.
