DESCRIPTION
A private, non-sectarian day school, accredited by the New Jersey Department of Education, for children and teenagers with learning disabilities. Offers a faculty/student ratio of 1 to 3, small classes and individualized instruction within a full school curriculum. Can accommodate up to 125 students, grades 2 through 12. Tuition is paid by public schools if placed by the Child Study Team; scholarships are available with private placement. Member, NJAIS and Orton Dyslexia Society, and ASAH. The Newgrange Educational Outreach Center in Princeton extends the work of the school into the community (see separate entry).

SERVICES
Education - Full academic curriculum/Ungraded - Learning disabled children and teens ages 8-18
Education and recreation, summer enrichment - Art, music, academics - Learning disabled or at-risk children ages 9-14.

PROGRAMS
SMART (Science, Music, Art, Reading, Tutoring): Summer program for learning disabled or at-risk students with learning difficulties ages 9-14 which provides art, music and other activities combined with academics. It is intended to reinforce academic gains of the school year and prevent regression during summer vacation. Held the month of July: 1/2 day sessions; one-on-one tutoring available in the afternoon.
