DESCRIPTION
The academic boarding school for one of the premier concert boychoirs. Most boys enter at the 4th, 5th or 6th grade level and continue through 8th. They receive a traditional academic education, in addition to singing in one of the two touring choirs or the training choir. The touring choirs perform all over the country and abroad. There are 60 students. See separate record for Camp Albemarle, a co-ed summer music camp held on the grounds of the school.

Financial aid is available based on family need.
FOUNDED
Founded in 1937 in Columbus, Ohio as the Columbus Boychoir. The school was added in 1940. The choir moved to Princeton where a boarding school was established in 1950. The name was changed in 1980 to the American Boychoir.
