DESCRIPTION
The nation's oldest non-profit community tennis organization which provides tennis instruction and competition for children and adults in Princeton and the surrounding areas. Its mission is the promotion of health and wellness for all through sport.

PROGRAMS
Instructional Program: A program which offers tennis instruction to children ages 5 and up and adults. Classes meet once a week for 1 1/2 hours and typically run from 6-9 weeks during the outdoor season. Winter indoor season runs in two 15-week sessions for juniors and adults.
Tournament Program: A program which offers competition for individuals of all ages and ability levels. Juniors can participate in both USTA sanctioned tournaments and non-sanctioned events.
Tennis Camps: Rookie Camp at Community Park for ages 7 - 11; Pagoda Camp at Princeton University for ages 12 - 18; Girls Prep Camp offers high school women special training as they prepare for their teams' competitive season; Mini-Camps for adults allow players to work intensively on their game over the course of a weekend.
Junior League Play: A program which offers strong intermediate players "ladder" match play competition in both singles and doubles.
Junior Team Tennis/World Team Tennis: A program which provides youngsters the opportunity to compete on coed teams and to gain experience in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
Play and Teach: A program at Pagoda Camp which allows ranked juniors the opportunity to attend camp, develop their teaching and leadership skills and earn money at the same time.
Learn English through Tennis: A program offered in conjunction with the Princeton YWCA English as a Second Language Program.
Wheelchair Tennis Program: A program which trains and prepares wheelchair bound players to compete in wheelchair tennis tournaments.

Tournament of Champions: a doubles tournament held over the course of the summer with the finals played in September
SCHOLARSHIPS
PTP awards thousands of dollars in scholarship aid to children and adults who would otherwise be excluded from tennis participation and instruction.
