DESCRIPTION
A cheerfully informal running club and social network whose members globally are sometimes described as "drinkers with a running problem". Weekly runs are conducted literally off road and off the beaten path in a non-competitive game of hare and hounds. Each week, a club member acts as the hare, laying a devious trail somewhere in the greater Princeton area through woods, fields, bushes, streams, etc. The trail, marked with splotches of flour, is usually 3-4 miles long and takes an hour to traverse. The hounds try to follow this trail in order to reach a stash of beer, chips, salsa, soda, and whatever else tickles the hare's fancy. the reward for mud, sweat, and the odd scratch is the scenery during and the socializing after the run. The Princeton Hash meets every week, whatever the weather, and is one of the oldest continually operating hashes in the world.
