DESCRIPTION
Trained volunteers who provide horticultural information and programs to the residents of Mercer County. The volunteers take a 21-week course in horticultural topics at Mercer County Extension in exchange for doing volunteer work on such Mercer County programs as the Home Composting Demonstration Site, 4-H Fair, community outreach days, etc., and staffing the Master Gardener Helpline, which answers residents' questions about gardening problems.
