DESCRIPTION
The Newgrange Education Center is designed to meet the educational and specialized needs of people with learning disabilities, their families, and professionals in the field. Newgrange enables students with learning disabilities to achieve academic success and improve their confidence through an individualized, intensive tutoring program. Teachers are trained in Orton-Gillingham based, multisensory structured language programs.
SERVICES
Consultations, educational evaluations, and tutoring programs for people with learning disabilities. Students range in age from 4 to 43
Newgrange Professional Series: brings experts to the Princeton area. Conferences are for professionals/educators and emphasize all aspects of learning disabilities. Cutting-edge research-based techniques are offered to administrators and educators in the tri-state area
Professional development programs designed to meet the specific needs of the school or agency

PROGRAMS
Early Identification and Assessment: Newgrange currently works with local elementary schools and agencies to provide training on early identification and assessment to identify students at risk for reading failure. Training programs enhance teacher/tutor ability to meet each student's individual needs.
Adult/Family Literacy: Newgrange provides individualized tutoring sessions for people of all ages.
Other fee-based services include Consultations, Reading Screenings, Educational Evaluations, Professional Development and Tutoring.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Garden State Culinary Classic: fundraiser held every October to benefit programs at Newgrange School and Educational Outreach Center. This fundraiser, held at a local establishment, features chefs from area restaurants and a selection of special wines.
