DESCRIPTION
The American Jewish Committee, founded 100 years ago, is an international think tank and advocacy organization with more than 150,000 members and supporters. The AJC has 13 chapters across the U.S. and 18 international posts that work to promote puralistic and democratic societies that will insure the protection of all minorities, while focusing on anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry; protecting human rights; asserting Israel's right to exist in peace and security with its neighbors and safeguarding and strengthening Jewish life.
