DESCRIPTION
A not-for-profit children's service agency which saves lives of children and supports their families. Services include: domestic and international adoption, infant foster care program, child abuse prevention and counseling, child care, birth parent counseling. Accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Children and Families, Inc. CHS of NJ is a licensed adoption agency in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

PROGRAMS
KIKS - Kids Intervention with Kids in School - A school-based, peer-led Youth primary prevention for middle-school students operating in Princeton, Lawrence, East Windsor and Trenton school districts.

Birth Parent Counseling: CHS of NJ offers a caring and compassionate service to help pregnant teens make the best choices for themselves and a child. It explores the options of keeping and raising the child, taking more time to consider choices, and placing a child for adoption. The service is free, private and confidential.

Adoption Options: CHS of NJ offers many adoption options that include international and domestic (infant or older child). There are also comprehensive post-adoption counseling and support services, including family therapy, background reports for adult adoptees, searches and reunions for adults, and family counseling in pre-adoption and older child adoption.
