DESCRIPTION
A coed day school through grade 8, plus a pre-school for 4 and 5 year-olds called Beginning School. Each grade, including the Beginning School, has approximately 12 pupils for a total of 125 students. Pre- and after-school care for all ages and summer camp are also available. Princeton Friends School offers a non-competitive, interdisciplinary curriculum that encourages cooperative learning experiences and responds to individual learning styles of each student. Each year the entire faculty designs a "central study" theme which is approached through the various academic disciplines. Princeton Friends School seeks children from diverse racial, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. The school is located in the Princeton Battlefield-Stony Brook Settlement Historic District. The site contains the oldest burial ground, and the earliest buildings for worship and education in Princeton.
