DESCRIPTION
The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to support research to find the cure for and prevention of arthritis and to improve the quality of life for those affected by arthritis. Mercer County has an arthritis support group and several exercise groups. See Programs.

Self-Help Courses: Provides help for people with the disease to become as independent as possible, feel better, and be more comfortable. Participants are taught the proper kinds of exercise, relaxation and stress management techniques, and the role of medication and nutrition in their treatment plan. Call 908-283-4300 for information.
