DESCRIPTION
A non-profit, non-partisan grassroots citizens movement dedicated to pushing back the influence of special-interest money, while advancing the influence of citizens in setting our government agenda.
PROGRAMS
Citizen Lobbying Program: Direct lobbying efforts by Common Cause members at the local, county and state level to pass Common Cause's moral reform ordinances
Citizens' Rights Training: free, nonpartisan seminars to teach citizens their legal rights and the political skills to participate effectively in local government including town councils, planning boards, school boards and political parties.
