DESCRIPTION
An organization whose purpose is to promote an interest, and encourage the writing and reading of, poetry. The DVP sponsors workshops, gives readings, engages speakers, publishes anthologies, and provides contact among people writing or interested in poetry.

PROGRAMS
Monthly Poetry Readings: 2nd MON each month (except December), 8:00 PM, at Barnes & Noble, MarketFair, Route 1 South, Princeton.

Cafe Improv: 4th SAT each month, 9:00 PM, Princeton Arts Council, 102 Witherspoon St., Princeton.

FOREIGN LANGUAGES
Spanish, spoken by some of the members

PUBLICATIONS
Newsletter with information about Barnes and Noble readings on 2nd Monday of each month and general poetry news.
Anthologies: Footpath, Stones and Poets, A Hard Turn, A Different Latitude

MEETING PLACE
Mercer County Library, Lawrence Headquarters Branch, 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrence (meetings are workshops)

MEETING TIME
3rd THU of the month, except JUL (picnic) and DEC (Holiday Party); 7:30 PM

MEMBERSHIP
Persons over 14 years of age, who have paid their dues. Everyone is welcome to attend. Bring 15-20 copies of your poem to the workshop
