DESCRIPTION
The 17-bed rehab hospital, unit of Princeton HealthCare System, which offers both rehabilitation services and sub-acute extended care. Merwick is also home to a 76-bed skilled nursing and residential center, as well as a separate 17-bed comprehensive rehabilitation center. Accredited by JCAHO, CARF, and licensed by the State of New Jersey

SERVICES
Acute Rehabilitation Hospital - Physical, occupational, speech and language, and recreational therapies; pain management, discharge planning, home evaluations, audiology, nutritional counseling and support, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and educational programs.
Skilled Nursing Center: Assisted living, skilled nursing; physical, occupational and speech therapies; geriatric assessment; daily exercise programs; restorative care; IV therapy; wound management programs; respite, palliative and hospice care programs
Snoezlen Therapy Room: a multi-sensory environment that promotes relaxation and recollection for Alzheimer's patients.
