DESCRIPTION
The government agency, administered through the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, whose mission is to expand the number and diversity of recreational programs for persons with disabilities, and to help ensure the professionalism of the people who provide recreation programs. It provides financial support for the NJ Special Olympics, Tournament of Champions and local recreation initiatives for persons with disabilities. It also administers the annual, voluntary certification program for recreation administrators and recreation supervisors.

PROGRAMS
Board of Recreational Examiners: The government agency who administers a plan of certification for recreation administrators and supervisors in New Jersey.
