DESCRIPTION
A non-profit, public/private partnership committed to increasing mobility and reducing congestion in Mercer County and adjacent areas by providing employers and the travelling public with transportation and commuting options. Also serves as a liason with government transportation agencies.
SERVICES
Transportation assistance for commuters - Ride share matching, transit information, shuttle service
Public information/education - Workshops, speakers, publications - commuting issues, ride sharing, traffic, air pollution, parking, mass transportation, ozone, action awareness, school programs
PROGRAMS
Rideshare Matching: Free no-obligation statewide rideshare computer matching service which matches commuters traveling the same commuting pattern to and from work to suitable car or van pools. Call 609-452-8988, 800-245-POOL.
Guaranteed Ride Home Program: Service providing emergency transportation for employees who are registered in a commuter program and whose employers are members of GMTMA.
School Pool: Rideshare assistance for parents taking kids to school
Brown Bag Lunch Meetings: Informal lunchtime presentations at businesses on transportation issues.
Corporate Shuttle Development and Administration
Transit Advocacy and Information
Electric Vehicle Station Car: For use between Princeton Junction Rail Station and nearby work sites.
Traffic Alert Program: Provides information on highway construction projects.
Student Outreach Program: Provides programs for schools on transportation and bike safety.
Welfare to Work Transportation: Assists in the development of transportation services to provide access to jobs for those leaving public assistance.
Ozone Action Program: Provides information on ozone pollution.
Alternate Work Hours and Telecommuting Information Program
Municipal Assistance Program: Assistance to municipal governments in finding transportation demand management solutions to transportation problems.
Employer services to develop and implement commute options programs
